Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Kyle, Texas will meet at 7:00 PM on August 14, 2018, at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center Street, Kyle, TX 78640, for the purpose of discussing the following agenda.

The City Council welcomes comments from Citizens early in the agenda of special meetings. Those wishing to speak are encouraged to sign in before the meeting begins. Speakers may be provided with an opportunity to speak during this time period on any agenda item or any other matter concerning city business, and they must observe the three-minute time limit.

Conduct a public hearing as required under Sec. 8.05 (a) of the City Charter on the City's Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 totaling approximately $84.9 million for all City Funds, as amended by City Council on July 28, 2018, including an ad valorem tax rate of $0.5416 per $100 of assessed taxable valuation, no increase in water service rates, a 10.0% increase in wastewater service rates, no increase in storm drainage fees, a 3.95% increase in solid waste service (trash collection) charges per contract terms, limited changes in other fees and charges, and the addition of sixteen (16) new positions for a total 244.0 full-time equivalent positions. ~ J. Scott Sellers, City Manager
