Under the new franchise agreement, the City will receive a franchise fee of 4.5 percent (an increase of 2.5 percent) on gross revenues received on sale of energy and power within the corporate limits of Kyle.
It is estimated that the City will receive approximately $593,000 in additional franchise fee in Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
