Maintenance is required on the Dacy Lane Elevated Storage Tank (300,000 gallons). The exterior paint system is in poor to fair condition, there is moderate internal biofilm buildup on wall plates, a light sediment layer needs to be removed from the floor and some safety improvements are needed.
The 500,000 gallon ground storage tank (No. 2) at Yarrington Road has minor interior staining at the water line, minor corrosion on the interior side of the plates, a light sediment layer needs to be removed and some safety improvements are needed.
The plan is to complete the rehabilitation of the Dacy Lane Elevated Storage by the end of the 2017 calendar year and the Yarrington Road No. 2 tank in early 2018. |
