Approve award of a contract to BURGESS AND NIPLE, INC., Austin, Texas, in an amount of $18,627.00 for evaluating the impact to the existing wastewater collection system created by projected development. ~ Leon Barba, P.E., City Engineer |
Other Information: |
The first wastewater model run was completed in May 2016. Since then, new developments have been identified that will have an impact on our collection system. Burgess and Niple, Inc. has been provided the latest and best information we have on proposed development and will complete a model run to determine the impact to the existing system. The results of the model run will be analyzed and compared to the 2016 report. Recommendations will be developed and presented to City staff for review.
Funding for this model run is available in the Engineering Department budget. This report will also assist staff in determining the cost of upsizing existing lines for proposed development. |
