Approve Contract Amendment No. 5 with ESPEY CONSULTANTS, INC. dba RPS, Austin, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $37,416.00, for a total contract amount of $638,737.00 for the purpose of providing additional professional engineering services for analysis and design changes to the Southside Wastewater Improvements Project. ~ Leon Barba, P.E., City Engineer |

This proposal from RPS provides for a previous analysis and for major design changes as follows:
- Feasibility Analysis - Evaluated the interim connection to the City of San Marcos gravity collection system in lieu of a proposed lift station.
- Design changes are required at the Kyle Correctional Facility, I35 crossings and connections to interceptors at FM150 and Lehman Rd.
- Changes in pipe sizes caused by increased development.
- Incorporate the I35 crossing of the Elliott Branch Wastewater Interceptor into the Southside Project in order to acquire only one TxDOT permit.
