The City of Kyle 2020 Bond includes $1.0 million in improvements to Gregg-Clarke Park including construction of a Skatepark. The City of Kyle and Hays County have entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) whereby the County has agreed to match the City's bond funds dedicated for park improvements. The specific park projects to be completed under the 2020 bond program are identified and listed in Exhibit A of the ILA (see attached).
The Park and Recreation Board and staff recommend approval of SPA Skateparks for design and construction of the Gregg-Clarke Park Skatepark. During the design process, the contractor will participate in two public input meetings. |

Funding in the amount of $1,000,000.00 is available in the 2020 General Obligation Bond Fund. The City has entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with Hays County whereby the County has agreed to match City's bond funds. Per the ILA, the County will not provide advance matching funds to the City. The City is required to draw funds from the County, subject to County's review and approval, as expenditures are incurred by the City for authorized park projects listed in Exhibit A of the ILA (see attached).
