The Bunton Creek Interceptor Phase 3.1 and 3.2 project will construct a gravity wastewater interceptor in the east side of the city. The project begins at the Southlake Lift Station, continues in a southeasterly direction and eventually connects to the City wastewater treatment plant. The proposed interceptor will remove the Southlake Lift Station and the Bunton Creek Village Lift Station from service.
The benchmarks used to establish the alignment and grade control for the proposed interceptor were set approximately 7 to 8 years ago by a different surveyor. The scope of work identified in this task is to confirm and reset bench marks, as necessary. The accuracy of these benchmarks is critical to ensuring the proposed wastewater line is built exactly as shown on the plans.
