Subject/Recommendation: |
Consider and possible action to approve a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Kyle, Texas, authorizing the submission of a two year grant application to the Office of the Governor, General Victim Assistance Direct Services Program; and authorize applicable matching funds from the Police Department’s approved operating budget for FY 2019, to continue to fund the Police Department’s full-time Victim’s Coordinator position; authorizing the City Manager to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant on behalf of the City Council; finding and determining that the meeting at which the resolution is passed is open to the public as required by law; providing for an effective date; and making such other findings and provisions related hereto. ~ Jeff Barnett, Chief of Police |
