(First Reading) An Ordinance of the City of Kyle, Texas, amending the City of Kyle, Texas, Code of Ordinance; amending Part II, Chapter 26, Article IV, Section 26-80 Definitions to add Dog Park and Section 26-84 Park Rules, to amend Animals in Parks; providing for repeal of conflicting ordinances; providing for an effective date and an Open Meetings Clause; and providing for related matters. ~ Kerry Urbanowicz, Director of Parks and Recreation |

These dog park rules are proposed by the dog park rules sub-committee of the dog park staff committee. The rules committee included Briana Brecher (Kyle Animal Control Officer), Michele Jones (PARD Admin Assist & retired Lufkin Animal Shelter Assist Director) and Kathy Roecker (Stormwater Administrator).
These proposed rules are consistent with dog park rules around Central Texas and will support public health, safety and welfare of the citizens and their pets.
