The water distribution system hydraulic model report prepared by Burgess and Niple, Inc. in December 2015 recommended pumping improvements were the number 1 priority followed by storage improvements. City staff has identified a need to increase both the pumping and the storage capacity at the FM 1626 Pump Station.
HDR Engineering, Inc. will be reviewing all available information to determine the appropriate needs at this facility based on the demand caused by increasing development. In addition to making recommendations on the proposed pumping and storage improvements, HDR Engineering will also be evaluating the the installation of a backup generator at the site.
Cost estimates will be provided in order to properly budget for the proposed improvements. |
