The scope of work identified in this task is only for providing a Preliminary Engineering Report. The scope of work will include review of existing documents and GIS data, determine utility conflicts, identify any potential environmental constraints, develop an optimal alignment and provide a probable construction cost for the project.
The Plum Creek Phase 3 Wastewater Interceptor (approximately 8,200 LF) will begin at the proposed connection of the Anthem development in the Plum Creek Golf Course. The existing 15" wastewater line will be upsized to a 21" line and will continue in a southerly direction through the Plum Creek Golf Course. The new route will connect to an existing 21" line along the UPRR railroad tracks and then be upsized to a 24" line. The 24" line continues in a southerly direction along the UPRR railroad tracks for approximately 1500' and ties in to an existing manhole adjacent to the Creekside Village Section 3 detention ponds.
Due to the new alignment through the Plum Creek Golf Course, a substantial savings has been achieved by combining the Plum Creek Phase 2 and Plum Creek Phase 3 Interceptors that were originally identified in the Burgess and Niple, Inc. report.
