Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Grant

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Kyle, Texas, authorizing the acceptance of a one year grant in the amount of $42,468.80 from the U.S. department of justice, office of justice programs, office of juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention for the purpose of funding the Kyle Police Department’s Juvenile Justice Officer full-time position for Fiscal Year 2017-2018; authorizing and providing matching funds in an amount not to exceed $30,298.00 from the Kyle Police Department’s approved budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018; authorizing the city manager to take all necessary action on behalf of the City Council; making such other findings and provisions related hereto; and providing for an effective date. ~ Jeff Barnett, Chief of Police

The Police Department's approved budget for Fiscal Year 2017-18 includes funding in the amount of $35,092.00 to meet the matching funding requirement for the Juvenile Justice Officer position.
