Meeting Date: 1/3/2017
Date time:
7:00 PM

Subject/Recommendation:

Authorize award and execution of a Purchase Order to TIBH IINDUSTRIES, INC., Austin, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $18,950.00, as the contractor for litter pick up and grass cutting on Interstate 35 using Easter Seals of Central Texas as the service provider. ~ Kerry Urbanowicz, Director of Parks and Recreation

Other Information:

As approved in the 2016-17 Budget, this was anticipated as a contract service to support the Parks Maintenance division of the Kyle Parks and Recreation Department in beautification efforts on the interstate’s landscaped areas. The State’s contract to cut and pick up litter on IH-35 is twice a year. This service would provide a third cutting and more litter pick-ups.

Storm Water Utility and Public Works may also use this contract service in areas of cutting and litter on public right of ways.

The approved budget for PARD is $18,950 (110-133-55329). Staff recommends approval.
