This project had work restrictions from 9am to 3pm for a 50 foot section on Center St. in the bid documents. This was established in order to minimize the impact to the school buses and parents dropping and picking up children at Wallace Middle School based on an aggressive work schedule. However, the construction continued in the area and a decision was made to extend the restricted work hours in order to maintain uninterrupted traffic flow through the area adjacent to the school during the morning and in the afternoon. |
