The proposed Bunton Creek Interceptor Phase 3.1/3.2 project is to construct a new gravity wastewater interceptor from the Southlake Lift Station to the City wastewater treatment plant.
This project will allow for the removal of the Southlake Lift Station and the Bunton Creek Lift Station. The current wastewater model report indicates that repairs in excess of $4 million are required if we continue to keep the Southlake Lift Station on line. Another future lift station is also planned as part of the development of the Creekside at Bunton Creek subdivision. This project will eliminate the need for construction of that particular lift station.
The first phase of work to be done will be the environmental investigations and reports. The scope of work to be done will include the Phase 1 Environmental Assessment, a Waters of the US Assessment and a Cultural Resources Phase 1 Intensive Survey.
Additional phases of work will be identified and brought to City Council for review/approval as the project moves forward to completion. |
