As approved in the 2016-17 Budget, this CIP Project is to improve the sports field lighting at the football/soccer field and softball field #5 at Gregg-Clarke Park. The original “budget estimate” was just under $100,000, however when getting the actual quote to do the install, we discovered that the lights on the football/soccer field has 3 electrical meters, not one. Musco needs to place a controller on each meter. They nowe need to install 3 controllers not 1. This is why the quote came in 5%, or $5,000, over estimates. The funds are from the Park Development Fund. Musco Sports Lighting is a preferred vendor with Buy Board Purchase Coop and their quote is through Buy Board Coop. Musco was the light provider for fields 1-4 at Gregg-Clarke Park’s Sports Complex. Quote is attached to agenda back up material. |
